上半年台灣地區上網人口
中華電信HiNet的ADSL用戶數約為266萬戶，數位聯合電信用戶數約20餘萬戶，各民營業者的寬頻用戶約有60萬至80萬戶。台灣網路資訊中 心（TWNIC）的調查指出，上半年台灣地區上網人口約1,466萬人，上網率達64.78%，寬頻網路使用人數約1,053萬人，約占總人口 54.70%。
